Does Faces by Leah travel?
Yes. Travel is based upon availability. Fees and booking minimums apply.
How far in advance should I book bridal hair and makeup?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for spring and fall wedding dates. We're now booking 2027 brides. Submit a bridal party inquiry to check availability.
Do you offer bridal trials?
Yes. A hair and makeup bridal trial is $300, and a makeup-only bridal trial is $185. Trials let you try your look and make adjustments before your wedding day.
Does Faces by Leah wash/dry hair?
No. Please arrive to your appointment with clean/dry hair.
Does Faces by Leah accept clients with existing cosmetic tattooing done elsewhere?
Yes. Please contact us to determine eligibility.
Is microblading permanent?
Microblading and combo brows are semi-permanent. Results typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Oily skin and frequent exfoliation can cause faster fading, which is why we recommend annual maintenance appointments ($350 for combo brows).
How long does lip blushing last?
Lip blushing typically lasts 2 to 3 years. Over time the color softens gradually, and an annual maintenance appointment ($300) keeps your lips looking fresh and even.
Do I need a touch-up after my first appointment?
Yes. A perfecting touch-up about 6 weeks after your first appointment lets us fill in any areas that healed lighter and fine-tune the shape and color. The 6-week touch-up is $150 for combo brows or lip blushing.
Does cosmetic tattooing hurt?
Most clients describe it as mild discomfort rather than pain. We apply a topical numbing cream before and during your service to keep you comfortable.
What is the healing process like?
Brows usually flake and heal on the surface within 10 to 14 days. Lips heal within about 5 to 7 days and may feel dry or swollen at first. For both, the color looks darker at first, then softens and settles into its final shade over about 4 to 6 weeks.
What aftercare is required?
For the first 7 to 10 days, keep the area clean and dry, avoid heavy sweating, swimming, saunas, and direct sun, and don't pick or peel any flaking skin. You'll receive detailed written aftercare instructions at your appointment.
Who is not a good candidate for cosmetic tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing may not be right for you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken Accutane in the past year, are undergoing chemotherapy, take blood thinners, or have active skin conditions or a history of keloid scarring in the area. If you're unsure, book a complimentary consultation and check with your doctor.
I get cold sores. Can I still get lip blushing?
Yes, but lip blushing can trigger a cold sore outbreak. If you have a history of cold sores, ask your doctor about taking an antiviral medication before your appointment.
What is the difference between microblading and combo brows?
Microblading uses a hand tool to create fine, hair-like strokes. Combo brows pair those strokes with soft machine shading for added fullness and definition, which works well on most skin types, including oily skin.

What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that things happen and appreciate prompt communication regarding cancellations and reschedules. Deposits/payments are non-refundable.
